However, the platform suffers from a significant gap between its "zero fees" marketing and real-world costs: wallet-to-card top-ups carry 2.5%+ fixed fees, creating effective costs of 11–21% on small amounts. Reward utility is low — only a 0.5% instant cashback on eligible merchant spending with no ongoing crypto rewards. KYC friction varies widely: quick for most users but aggressive document hunts and fund freezes are documented in edge cases. The mobile "VOLET SuperApp" holds a poor 2.7/5 Play Store rating due to legitimacy fears, instability, and KYC flow issues, contrasting with a generally positive web experience.
