A problem though, an atm ate my card the other day and Sofi won’t ship outside the US, so had to get it shipped to someone in the states and they will have to get it to me. I understand not reopening the old account but to not let you apply for a new credit card is ridiculous. I used to rely on the SoFi card as my catch-all card—first at 2%, then 2.2%, and later back to 2%. Recently, I picked up the 3% AOD and 3% Aven cards, so the SoFi card no longer provides any real benefit for me. Like the Amex Green, etc. It's spending limit is technically whatever you have in your checking/savings account (not including the "vaults") The HYSA rate remains the same as long as you have direct deposit or $5k a month transferred in, but Sofi Plus gets decoupled to a separate subscription fully. If you already have Sofi Plus from that, you'll still have it until the end of March before it becomes a paid subscription. Same exact number that’s on their website. The person on the other end sounded professional and calm, with what I think was an Indian accent.
