Had to clean data and reinstall. After reinstalling, it doesn't let me create a new account because it says I already have one, but I cannot access it because it requests a password or a non-existent backup I don't have. Had to contact support and wait days for a fix. Forces EUR -> USD conversion and charges 0.5% for it. When I downloaded it it said on the registration screen my country is eligible and I will be able to order a card. I verified my account and it said my account is approved. It then asked me to deposit money. I deposited 110 USDC. It then said I can't order a card. I contacted support and they told me my country is not eligible. However now that I’ve been using it for a couple months they stopped covering charges entirely. It’s been over a month since they covered a charge. Whereas when I started it would be once a week. I can’t link my bank either, so my money is somewhat stuck”@kotisbroken“How to convert USDC to and from USD for free in Canada There’s been a few old posts on this with outdated information so posting this to make it clear: it is now possible to convert between the two currencies for free in Canada. The assumption here is you have USDC or USD and want to convert from one to the other. Use the app Tuyo. Tuyo.com is their official site. They are a self-custodial app, meaning if KYC fails or your account is restricted you can always take your money out (they state this on their website). Gotta be careful with your money with services like this”@mbosch25775“Cannot delete account Besides poor customer service, which is only happening when it is in their favour and easy to solve, you will not be able to delete your account. It will always give you an error message so they will sit on your KYC data which I had to complete 3 times for no reason at all. You will have to bridge over to Base, but that's easily done in-app. Overall very pleasant experience. The Good: Generous Fee Structure 1:1 USDC to USD conversion 0% foreign exchange fee Apple Pay Enabled You get random purchases refunded, Tuyo says "It's on us". That's a fun one.
