@CryptoCards.so - Spendly Card Review 2026“The most detailed independent listing of the card and the source both passes lean on for hard numbers. Scores it 7.0/10, crediting a no-questions-asked signup, Delaware incorporation, support for BTC, ETH, SOL and USDT and the absence of a monthly subscription, while penalising the 4.5% top-up fee, the $7 creation fee, zero cashback, no ATM withdrawals, a 12-month card expiry and a BIN blocked from PayPal, CashApp and Venmo. Also the source that confirms the prepaid custodial model.”@CryptoCards.so - Top Crypto Cards of 2026“Directory-wide ranking used as the benchmark for where Spendly sat against the rest of the market. Confirms maximum cashback of zero for the card and places it well below regulated stablecoin cards on cost, while showing how few independent community scores it ever accumulated.”@CryptoCards.so - Best No-KYC Crypto Cards 2026“Category page for anonymous cards that lists Spendly among the no-KYC options while flagging the structural risks common to the segment: unlicensed issuers, sudden freezes and load fees far above regulated alternatives. Useful for showing that even privacy-focused directories treated the fee level as an outlier.”@OpenCryptoCards - Spendly Card“Second directory listing, notable mainly for what it lacks: the entry carries no community rating and only minimal verified detail, and it is one of the sources where Apple Pay and Google Pay support is marked unsupported, contradicting the platform own marketing. Evidence that independent verification never materialised.”@The Grid - Spendly Payments company profile“Corporate intelligence profile and the strongest single piece of evidence for the shutdown: it lists the card product as discontinued and the managing entity as inactive. Both research passes weight this above any marketing claim.”@Taxencadenado - Tarjetas cripto sin KYC“Spanish-language 2026 ranking that placed Spendly at the top of its no-KYC list for global availability, praising issuance without a passport or national ID. The same article warns about high commissions, minimal legal protection and unexpected account blocks on unregulated platforms, so the endorsement is heavily qualified.”@Rise - Best No-KYC Crypto Cards in 2026: A Contractor Guide“Compliance-oriented guide arguing that the fully anonymous card is largely a myth, since Visa and Mastercard enforce AML obligations on issuers regardless of where they are domiciled. Advises loading only what will be spent immediately because unlicensed issuers can freeze balances without warning, which is the exact failure mode Spendly users faced.”@RedotPay - Why RedotPay Does Not Offer a No-KYC Crypto Card“Competitor position paper explaining why a licensed issuer declines to offer anonymous cards, citing banking-partner and card-network requirements. Used in both passes as industry context for why products in Spendly niche tend to fail abruptly rather than wind down in an orderly way.”@MetaMask - Top crypto cards in 2026“Market survey of 2026 cards in which Spendly does not appear, used as a comparison set. Highlights the shift toward non-custodial smart-contract cards that draw funds from a user own wallet at authorisation, the architecture Spendly prepaid top-up model lacked.”@Kem - Best Stablecoin Cards in 2026“Fee and coverage comparison across stablecoin cards, cited to benchmark the 4.5% load charge against competitors offering zero-fee USDC spending. Establishes that the fee was a privacy premium rather than a market rate.”@Coinbase Card“Competitor reference point for the fee comparison: a fully KYC verified Visa with no-fee USDC spending and up to 4% rewards. Included to quantify what users gave up economically in exchange for anonymity.”@Monerium blog“Regulatory background on MiCA and EU e-money rules, cited for the compliance environment that squeezed minimal-KYC issuers off the fiat rails through 2025 and 2026. No Spendly-specific content.”@Fintech Business Weekly“Industry newsletter feed cited as background on issuer and BIN-sponsor risk, specifically the recurring pattern of banking partners withdrawing support from crypto card programs. Context only, carries no direct sentiment on the card.”@Quanteron - Spendly project page“Agency-style case study presenting Spendly as a delivered client project, describing fast virtual issuance and mobile wallet support. Promotional in tone and treated as a low-weight source, but useful as one of the few records of who built and operated the platform.”@Obsidian.cards“Prepaid-as-a-service B2B issuing platform named in Spendly cached Terms of Service as the card issuance and compliance partner. Corroborates the custodial architecture, since Spendly resold another provider BIN and never held the balance itself, and explains how an upstream partner problem could take the whole product offline.”@Scam Detector - usespendly.com validator“Automated trust review scoring the domain 26.3 out of 100 and tagging it as debatable or contentious rather than outright fraudulent. The drivers are a very young domain, privacy-redacted WHOIS registration and high-risk crypto flags rather than confirmed theft reports.”@ScamAdviser - usespendly.com check“Trust scanner returning a score of 0 with a caution-recommended verdict, citing the June 2025 domain registration, hidden ownership details and low traffic. The same check exists in several localised versions including Spanish and Dutch, all returning the same rating.”@Qualys SSL Labs - usespendly.com server test“TLS configuration test on the card domain that fails outright, the technical confirmation that hosting and certificates lapsed. For a platform holding customer fiat balances both passes read this as a terminal signal rather than a maintenance lapse.”@@SpendlyCC (official X account, roughly 1.1-1.3k followers)“The only social channel with any organic activity, joined around July 2025. Posts are promotional, covering instant card creation, Apple Pay and Google Pay and multi-asset support, and replies push users to the website or DMs, both now dead ends. Scattered user comments report cards working and loading via SOL or LTC. The account also acknowledged a security incident at a bank issuer partner affecting a small number of accounts and promised refunds through a secure form. Recent mentions are largely spam and authentic volume is too low for a strong signal.”@r/JapanFinance - Rakuten Premium cashback and NISA thread“Off-ramping tangent inside a thread about mutual funds and tax-advantaged accounts, and one of the very few organic mentions of the card anywhere. A commenter recommends it as a way to spend crypto in person without identity checks, which is the clearest piece of genuine praise either pass located.”@r/CryptoCurrency - What is the best crypto card ever (non_fingo and others)“Comparison thread where Spendly appears against mainstream options. Users including non_fingo rate the Gemini card materially better on economics, around 4% back on fuel and 3% on dining, despite full KYC, framing zero rewards plus a 4.5% load fee as a steep price for anonymity. Also carries the general warning against routing payroll or large balances through minimally regulated issuers.”@r/budget - Weekly Budget App/Software Discussion“Recurring app-promotion thread and a clear illustration of the naming collision: every Spendly mention here is an unrelated fiat budgeting app, not the crypto card. Included because this is the content that dominates search results for the name and buries any genuine review of the card.”@r/budget - Best budgeting app?“Recommendation thread for personal finance apps in which Spendly refers exclusively to expense trackers. No crypto-card content, catalogued as part of the brand-dilution evidence.”@r/reactnative - First time building an app, would love feedback on improving this UI“Indie developer showcasing a budgeting app named Spendly and soliciting UI feedback. Unrelated to the card, and another entry in the cluster of same-name projects that made the crypto product effectively unsearchable.”@r/YNABAlternatives - It is Sunday Devs“Developer self-promotion thread where budgeting apps using the Spendly name are posted. No relevance to the card beyond documenting the discoverability problem.”@Google Play - Spendly - Budget Diary“Unrelated fiat expense-tracking app occupying the name on Android. Catalogued to support the finding that the crypto card never shipped a native app and that Play Store ratings under this name must not be attributed to it.”@Google Play - Spendly“Another same-name Android budgeting app from an independent developer. Included as brand-collision evidence, none of its ratings relate to the crypto card.”@Google Play - Spendly AI: Smart Budgeting“AI receipt-scanning budget app and the most prominent Play Store result for the name. Its visibility is a large part of why searches for the crypto card return budgeting software instead of reviews.”@Google Play - Spendly AI: Smart Budgeting (UK storefront)“Regional listing for the same budgeting app, recorded separately in the research source list. Confirms the name is occupied across locales rather than only in the US store.”@Google Play - Spendly: AI Expense Tracker“Third-party expense tracker sharing the name. Listed to close out the Play Store check, which found no application published by the card operator on Android.”@App Store - ksak: Income and Expense Tracker“Adjacent personal-finance app surfaced by the same-name searches on iOS. Included for completeness in the App Store sweep, which likewise found no crypto-card application.”@App Store - Spendly (916cad)“iOS app carrying the Spendly name that is unrelated to the card, confirming the collision extends to Apple store. Card users had no native iOS app and managed top-ups and card credentials entirely through a web portal.”@App Store - Bleap: Finance and Crypto Card“Competitor app included as the app-experience benchmark: a maintained mobile client with biometric login and instant card controls, set against Spendly browser-only portal. Contributes directly to the low app-experience score.”@GitHub - EDM115/Spendly“Open-source budget tracker of the same name, one of several code repositories crowding the search index. No connection to the card, recorded as part of the naming-collision inventory.”@GitHub - money-management topic feed“Topic feed listing multiple independent Spendly-named budgeting projects. Cited to show the scale of the name overlap across app stores, Reddit and code hosts.”

Spendly Card scores 4.3/10 across 35 community sources, unifying two independent deep-research passes. Both passes converge on the same finding: the product is no longer operating. The domain was registered in June 2025 and expired roughly a year later, now fails SSL configuration testing, the Terms of Service page returns a 404, and corporate intelligence directories list the card as discontinued with the managing entity inactive. Onboarding was the one real strength, a virtual Visa issued in minutes with no passport, proof of address or selfie, provisioned into Apple Pay and Google Pay and funded with BTC, ETH, SOL, LTC or USDT. Everything downstream counted against it. Economics were among the worst in the sector: 4.5% on every crypto top-up plus a $7 creation fee, zero cashback or referral rewards, no ATM withdrawals, a BIN blocked from PayPal, CashApp and Venmo, and a hard 12-month card expiry that forced repeat issuance fees. The model was fully custodial, since users sent crypto to a platform-controlled address and the resulting fiat sat on an issuer ledger, with cached Terms attributing that issuance to the B2B provider Obsidian.cards, leaving no on-chain recourse once the service went dark. Independent evidence is unusually thin: no YouTube reviews, no Trustpilot presence, no native iOS or Android app, and organic Reddit discussion drowned out by a large family of unrelated Spendly budgeting apps across both app stores, GitHub and r/budget, which for a trust-dependent financial product is a serious discoverability failure in itself. What authentic sentiment exists is cautionary. The official X account acknowledged a security incident at a bank issuer partner and promised refunds by secure form, trust scanners rate the domain 26.3/100 and 0/100 on the back of redacted WHOIS data and a young registration, and the only notable third-party demo, a LinkedIn write-up, promoted the card for anonymous online purchases. Comparison threads consistently judged regulated cards such as Gemini, Coinbase and Bleap to offer far better economics than the privacy premium Spendly charged, and users holding balances when the site went offline have no documented recovery path.
